As we move into winter, Bowers CPA would like to update you on our COVID-19 safety precautions. The health and safety of all our clients, as well as our staff, is our greatest concern. We are committed to continuing to provide the highest quality service you have come to expect from us while incorporating our safety program.
We are committed to keeping our clients, friends, and family healthy and safe as we work to do our part in flattening the curve of transmission of COVID-19. Maine has done comparatively well in containing the spread of the virus, and we wish to help to continue that trend. Your patience and understanding is appreciated. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have about our safety measures.
- We are limiting in-person meetings as much as possible. We are happy to schedule phone meetings at your convenience. We have installed a secure drop box near the mailboxes outside our office for you to deposit your documents. We can mail or email you completed returns, or you can schedule a time to pick up your completed returns.
- Most of our staff are working remotely to minimize in-person contact, and allow them to manage remote schooling, etc. You can still reach your preparer via their usual phone extensions and email. We have a secure remote server to ensure your information remains safe while remote work happens.
- Our staff adheres to best practices as described by CDC guidelines, including mask-wearing, physical distancing, and frequent hand washing.
- We ask that anyone entering the offices wear a face covering at all times, and we provide hand sanitizer in the office for staff and visitors. We have also installed HEPA Air filtration units throughout the office.
- Our secure file transfer system allows us to share documents with you, and allows you to send us your information electronically. ShareFile is easy to use and the link can be found in any of the signature lines of the accountants you work with. You may also CLICK HERE to upload your documents securely via ShareFile.
