I came to Maine in 1970 to help paint a house and never thought of living elsewhere since. We've called Rockland home since 2017, after Washington, Maine, since 1975, where I served on the Planning Board and Budget Committee. I currently serve on the boards of the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport and the Arts Center at Kingdom Falls in Montville.
I graduated from the University of Maine, where I served as its first student trustee, and later served one term in the Maine House of Representatives. Outside the office, I'm happiest hiking, kayaking, or skiing.
